Exportadora Andaluza de Aceites (known as ACEITEX) emerged in 1988 after several years of oil cultivation and research in the sector, such as verifying the land quality and adapting the best environmental conditions for the production of the Best Olive regarding to the Quality, pleased for its natural and ecological location.

Respect for the Environment and Nature

Our olive farms are located in several geographical areas of the province of Jaén. One of the farms is located in Jaén’s countryside, and the other two are located within the region that embraces Sierra de Cazorla, which are the most extensive, carefully exploited to obtain an essential fruit in our Mediterranean diet.

 Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park

Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park is a native region located in the northeast of the province of Jaén and has a territorial extent of 214,300 ha, which is the largest protected area in Spain and the second in Europe, impresses by its steep relief of half mountain. Rocky walls of great height intermingle with deep valleys and luscious forests of Laricio pines (European Black Pine), Negrales or Aleppo pines dotted of holm oaks, oaks and pines.

This natural area is also known for its hunting tradition.

Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park is more than nature embraced by our centenary olive trees and pleased for the mild climate generated by the mountain. It produces aromatic olive oils endowed with essential vitamins for our body.

Autumn is one of the best times to explore the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park; not only for the colors of its landscape, dotted with ochre, red and gold, but for the variety of its sounds.

The first rains of mid-September rains announce the arrival of the stag bellowing, a show for the ears that continues with the deer hoarse in October and the jealousies of the mouflon and the male mountain animals in November.

Water is another of the leading elements of this natural area, since it is the largest protected area in Spain. The extensive existing hydrographic network does not only allows enjoying a great variety of flora and fauna but also getting to know the source of the rivers Guadalquivir and the Segura, symbols of the Andalusian region.
